6 wk old home owner in BV. Very anxious to leave "rust belt" and settle permanently in BV. Enjoy sitting outside at F & H with wife and dog drinking beer and walking home. Can't do that in the North. Have not come across many native North Carolinians. As long as real estate is less than in the North, people will continue to come.
I agree. In fact a home on my street has just sold in three weeks as a for sale by owner. It seems that we've had quite a bit of positive traction lately. And it seems that prices are still rising. Also, I heard that Rubbermaid is moving 350 employees here from Ohio. their HQ is right next to the village an who wouldn't want to wlak to work at that place - how awesome.
